Snakeroot Organic Farm is a MOFGA certified organic farm
with three acres of gardens producing mixed vegetables and culinary and medicinal herbs. We also operate a
300 tap maple sugarbush and six greenhouses for producing seedlings and early and late vegetables. We have
been farming together since 1990, and have over 40 years combined experience growing organically in Maine.
Our apprentices Jack and Coco joined us in 2006 and are rapidly becoming invaluable to the farm's
operation. Learn all you wanted to know about our farm (and more!) by using the menu on the left. MS

. . . and at the Farm
Anytime we're not at market, stop by from 8am til dusk. From the Weeks Road, we are 1/2
mile down the Snakeroot Road on the right. The farm isn't visible from the road; look
for our sign near the end of our driveway heading into the woods. Directions to our farm. We always enjoy vistors who come
tour our vegetable, herb and perennial gardens, compost piles, sugarbush or greenhouses. When you arrive, realize that we may be in the greenhouses or
in the fields unable to hear or see you; however our friendly (but loud!) dogs should announce your arrival. Park out of the way and come find us!
