The SUMMER MARKET is held in the Steam Plant parking lot from May–November:
1^st Saturday in May to the Saturday before Thanksgiving, 8am–1pm.
and
Fourth Tuesday in June to Last Tuesday in October, 2–5:30pm.
Due to Commencement (in May) and Homecoming (in October) activities at the University, the Farmers' Market will be held in the Mill Street Parking lot in downtown Orono on those Saturdays only.

The WINTER MARKET is held in the Downtown Orono parking lot from December–April:
Second and Fourth Saturdays of the month from 9am–Noon.

Visit the Orono Farmers' Market at the University Steam Plant Parking Lot on College Avenue in Orono, Maine. The market is located between College Avenue and the Stillwater River, less than a mile north of downtown Orono. Now in its fifteenth year, the 2008 Orono Farmers' Market is one of Maine's larger markets with over twenty-five members offering a wide range of locally produced foods on Saturday mornings and Tuesday afternoons, open rain or shine. As in most other farmers' markets in Maine, all of the goods for sale must be the result of the vendor's own effort. And remember, you make a difference each time you support a local farmer.

Each year our market is open every Saturday Morning from 8 am–1 pm from the first Saturday in May until the Saturday before Thanksgiving, and Tuesday afternoon from 2–5:30 pm from the last Tuesday in June until the last Tuesday in October.

The Winter Market is open on the second and fourth Saturdays of each month from December through April. It is held in the downtown Orono parking lot, between Pine and Mill streets.
