Arkeo Farm

  • We raise a herd of around 40 Boer, Nubian, and Saanan goats for our small homestead creamery. Our creamery produces a wide variety of herbed and spiced chevre, as well as yogurt and cajeta caramel. We also offer goat meat, and free-range eggs.

  • We raise all natural grass fed Hereford beef and pastured pork. All our cows are born on our farm and all have names. We do rotational grazing so they get the best quality feed. We also grow and harvest our own hay on our own fields so we know what they eat! People with grain allergies can eat our beef without fear of getting sick. We have been raising beef since 1990 that’s over 30 years of experience!

Eagle View Gardens and Haunted Trail Pumpkins Joined the market in 2006.

  • We sell a variety of vegetables and herbs. All grown naturally and picked fresh daily. Bulk orders for beans, cukes, beets, tomatoes, etc., are welcomed. Order early. Visit our place in the fall for pumpkins, corn stalks, and all your decorating needs. We have the only local u-pick pumpkin patch. The patch features a haunted trail! Groups are welcomed. Call for details. Finally, we have a limited supply of free range eggs.

  • Early Ground Farm raises pastured pork and grass-fed beef. Our animals are out on pasture in the warm months and on a deep litter system in the winter. We will have strawberries this year!  As well as a simple selection of flower bouquets.
  • The fall here is all about specialty pumpkins, gourds and Jack-o-lanterns! As well as pumpkin baked goods!
  • We plan to be at market all season long.
  • We also attend the Pittsfield Farmers’ Market and the Orono Farmers’ Market.

  • Heald Farm LLC specializes in the production of bi-color sweet corn. We have corn as early as nature allows, usually the last week of July. We provide sugar enhanced varieties, picked fresh daily through October. Fresh native sweet corn is our specialty. We take pride in providing the highest quality sweet corn for the longest possible season. We also have a variety of potatoes, mixed vegetables, strawberries, raspberries and cranberries, in season.
  • We will be at market from late June through November. We also attend the Brewer and Hampden Farmers’ Markets, as well as the United Farmer’s Market of Maine in Belfast. You can also purchase our produce through the Maine Senior Farm Share Program, and online on FarmDrop.

  • Honestleigh Acres is a small family owned and operated farm that is committed to providing our clients with healthful and nutritious produce. We manage our operation using the best ideas from numerous grow theories including: organic, biodynamic, veganic, and permaculture techniques.
  • Honestleigh Acres harvests many of the “staple” items that most keep handy in the kitchen (cucumbers, carrots, tomatoes, string beans, sugar and snap peas, winter and summer squash and mixed greens). We strive to produce and carry these items earlier and later than the average local farm. We also produce greens and salad mix throughout the winter and spring.
  • In addition to the produce, we also have Italian-American and French-American inspired baked goods. Cannoli, biscotti and ricotta cookies are some favorites; as well as artisan and sandwich breads.
  • We plan to attend market all season long. We also attend the Unity Farmers’ Market and the Pittsfield Farmers’ Market, and are on FarmDrop.

  • We are a small-scale market farm using regenerative and organic practices. We
    bring vegetable, flower, and natural dye seedlings (May-early June), garlic,
    vegetables, herbs, shiitake mushrooms, and duck and chicken eggs to market.
    We offer a wide variety of vegetables and many heirloom choices that you don’t
    find in your local grocery store. Occasionally, we have Muscovy Duck for sale
    too!
  • We specialize in natural dye plants, natural dyestuffs and occasionally products
    that have been naturally dyed such as tea towels, napkins, and aprons.

  • We hand-craft small batches of cheese and yoghurt using milk from our Alpine/Saanen goats. Our goats are pasture fed when pasture is available, otherwise they eat hay made on the property and GMO-free grain. The farmstead goat milk is converted to yoghurt or cheeses, which include chevre cobbles rolled in various herbs or spices, or in oil with seasonings, feta, paneer, ricotta, brie-style and several raw milk aged goat cheeses. From a neighbor’s organic Jersey cow milk we produce full cream and low-cream yoghurt (in refundable glass jars) and other fresh and aged cheeses. Lamb sometimes available.
  • We will be at market from May- November. Also at the Belgrade Lakes Farmers’ Market on Sunday mornings and we welcome sales at our farm but best to phone beforehand.

Love Birds Farm

  • We produce diversived vegetables year round with a focus on fall and winter crops including greens in the winter months. We utilize a no till system for soil health and sustainability, grow using organic practices and are pesticide free. In addition to vegetables production, we raise a small flock of sheep for meat and pelts, as well as turkeys for the holiday season.
  • We offer homesteading and livestock processing classes in the fall and enjoy educating on sustainable farming practices. We also offer a summer CSA and sell vegetebles and eggs from our farm stand.
  • We will be attending the Winter Market, Nov-April providing a variety of hardy winter greens, storage root crops, fresh eggs, seasonal goose eggs and sheep pelts. We look forward to supplying the community with fresh greens this winter!

  • The Miller’s Table at Maine Grains is a cafe and bakery housed at Maine Grains in the former Somerset County Jail in Skowhegan that features fresh baked sourdough bread, delicious pastries, wood fired pizza, sandwiches, and scratch made soups made from Maine Grains freshly milled flours and produce from local farms. Our bakery team offers a full lineup of naturally leavened sourdough breads including Country, Sesame, Kalamata olive, Pullman sandwich loaves and weekly “Baker’s Choice” loaves.
  • Customers are encouraged to sign up for a tour of the gristmill and visit the cafe for hot breakfast sandwiches made on our signature sourdough English muffins or ciabatta bread, wood fired breakfast pizza, craft cocktails and local beers, a stand out selection of wines, frozen to-go meals and more when you’re head to, or passing through Skowhegan.

  • We produce ice cream in our small plant in Searsport using all natural, locally sourced milk & cream, cane sugar (never high fructose corn syrup), natural flavorings & extracts, Maine fruit & maple syrup whenever possible. Our Italian Carpigiani batch freezer makes 2.5 gallons of ice cream in about 10 minutes. Our blast freezer quickly chills the ice cream down to -20oF so ice crystals don’t form. Our overrun is small (the amount of air whipped into the mix) resulting in a rich & creamy ice cream treat.

  • Worcester’s Wild Blueberries harvest 35 acres of wild low bush blueberries providing our valued customers with a clean, tasty, healthy and truly Maine product. We pride ourselves in producing blueberries that are of the highest quality and ready to use “out of the box”. Sizes vary from pints and quarts to 5 & 10 lb. boxes. Our frozen blueberries (5 & 10 lb. boxes) are available year round. From our kitchen we produce not only blueberry jams and jellies but also, syrup, BBQ sauce, vinaigrette, and pie filling etc. Sugar-free jam and syrup are also available. Honey lovers find our delicious blueberry blossom honey especially tasty. Wedding favors from our kitchen add a truly unique gift for friends and family both near and far.
