While applications are open to anyone who would like to apply, each year we attempt to accept only those new members who will offer items for sale at the market which are not already present in abundance. If you are not currently familiar with what items are present at market, reviewing the member directory or an actual visit to the market may help.
Everything offered for sale at market must be produced by market members themselves.
How to apply to the market: download the Market Application, and review the Market Rules and the Market By-Laws from the Market Documents page. THIS IS IMPORTANT! These documents will help you to understand how the market operates and what is expected of all market members. Instructions for submitting the application and the deadline for applying are on the application form itself. You may also print the application, fill it out, and email us a legible photo of it (and any supporting docs) instead of physically mailing it.
There are different deadlines for applying to join the Summer Market as a Regular Member and for applying to join the Winter Market as a Guest Vendor.
Joining the Summer Market
Application deadline is March 1 for regular Summer Market applicants. New applications are considered at our March New Applicants Meeting of the general membership, which all new applicants are required to attend. You will be notified of the time and place of that meeting once we have your application, so be sure the information that you provide on the application is current and accurate. The meeting is usually held near the middle of March. Do not send your annual dues with your application; if you are accepted send us your dues or pay them the first day you attend market.

Regular Summer Market Members are full members and may attend market year-round, or as much or as little as they wish.

As defined in our Market Rules, Winter Market Guest Vendors can only attend the Winter Market from December to April, are not regular members (although they may apply to be), and have no voting privileges.
To apply to be a Winter Guest Vendor, you use the regular market application which is due back to the market by November 1. You can send the application to the Market Secretary listed on application, or to the Winter Market Manager Belinda Derrico, 93 Cushnoc Rd, Vassalboro 04989, lovebirdsfarm17@gmail.com. You will be notified about your acceptance before Thanksgiving.
