Fox and coyote problems
generally are either regarding a den close by a home and seeing the
critters during the day, or predation to agriculture animals or
pets. Consequently, coyote predation is the most often complaint
heard. Both animals are treated similarly, but differently.

With fox and coyotes,
trapping efforts to control a population are only effective if they
are sustained and carried out year after year. We often try to
remove the offending animals initially to curb the immediate
problem. Then we address whether it was an isolated incident or
whether it's likely there will be another occurrence in the future.

Options could include site
modification, education, and/or a yearly seasonal trapping in the
fall by us or a qualified local trapper who might be willing to trap
coyotes for free in exchange for land access. We can address your
concerns and come up with a long term management plan that meets
your goals and objectives.
