One of the first questions
that we get asked about is pricing. This is a really tough thing to
give over the phone, let alone to provide a general idea on a web
page. We can try to give you a rough idea. Similarly to calling any
plumber, electrician, or mechanic, you'll find many professionals do
not set a price until seeing the job at hand. We offer this
information in a broad general context only.
-
-
You can expect to pay
between $25-$65 an hour plus materials. This is obviously a wide
price range, but we offer services for a wide variety of wildlife.
Obviously, if you live 5 minutes away and we are just removing a
skunk that wants to live under on your porch, it's going to cost at
the low end. If it is a hazardous job involving ladders, multiple
levels, high levels of contaminants from feces, or extra help is
needed than it will be towards the higher end. Every situation is
unique and needs to be handled differently. We mention both price
extremes as a way to paint an example.

Costs do vary widely by
company and the level of business. In rural Maine, many highly
qualified individuals handle nuisance wildlife. Many work part time,
or possible within their local town or with a specific species of
animal only. When considering hiring someone to meet your wildlife
removal and repair needs, price alone should not be the deciding
factor in resolving your situation. Every situation is incredibly
unique and only through on-site evaluations and inspections can a
true price be determined. Wildlife Control is highly specialized
work conducted by licensed and insured professionals. Our business
is built on customer satisfaction with the services we provide,
before and after the job.
-
We do charge a flat
$25/hour inspection fee from the time we leave the shop until we get
back. You can generally expect inspections to take anywhere from 1-3
hours including drive time. We do try to schedule all inspections
with the consideration that if you would like our services then we
can begin working immediately. After finishing the inspection we can
give you an accurate quote for completing the job and suggest
possible options for you.
-
-
We prefer to handle all
exclusion work as part of the job as well. However, if you are
comfortable handling the carpentry, landscaping, and ladder side of
the work than that is fine also. We work to help you resolve and fix
current problems, and prevent future wildlife conflicts. Your
satisfaction is our goal.

Areas
We Cover
Maine Wildlife Exclusion
Services primarily serves to the communities of Waldo, Penobscot, and
Hancock counties. We do provide service statewide, commonly for
beaver and bat problems which often involve much more exclusion work
than trapping or relocation. The inherent travel costs associated
with daily travel to check traps can become costly if you are located
hours away from us, and in these situations we often try and help you
find a qualified ADC agent in your area. Every situation is different
and unique, so give us a call today and we'll begin working with you
to help resolve your concerns.
