I got a big bag of black walnuts from a place where they grow randomly and un-managed. There were at least 7 trees here and I left bushels behind.
Jesse Stevens, October 2019. This front yard specimen is notable for its robust form and that the nuts husk out pretty cleanly, not much residue left on the nut shell makes for easier processing. 180lbs so far…most are still in the tree!
